The Youth for Peacebuilding project is implemented by the Improve Your Society Organization (IYSO) in partnership with Global Communities within the framework of the Stronger Yemeni Communities Together Program (YCST) funded by the United States Agency for International Development USAID.

The project aims to build youth capacities and enable them to work on building peace in their local communities in Al-Shamayatain and Al-Ma’affer districts / Taiz governorate, the project includes a training program, then the trained youth will work on implement small community activities and initiatives to meet the needs of the community and enhance social cohesion in the target communities of the project.

The youth in the project were able to address six issues of a community conflict nature, through initiatives that support stability and enhance social cohesion,

At the end of the project, a network youth for peace was established, youth work through this network until now
