With the aim of improving women’s participation in community and increasing their impact on societal issues, Improve Your society Organization (IYSO) launched the Interactive Women Forum , funded by CARE International, which aimed to build women’s capacities and enhance their leadership role in building peace at the local level in Taiz city.

The project started with a training program on “Leadership and Peace” for the targeted women.

Then the women were hold dialogue sessions to discuss the challenges of women’s participation in peacebuilding, present and future, in the light of UN resolutions, and to come up with recommendations to improve women’s participation and increase their influence in society and access to decision-making positions.

The Interactive Women’s Forum is one of the sustainable projects and is currently working as an initiative led by a group of young women and has many activities that focus on women’s issues.
