The Improve Your society Organization IYSO gives great attention to the youth groups  , IYSO has worked to capacity building 20 youth men and women representing 15 youth initiatives within the “Youth Peace Leaders Project” funded by saferworld (Fund of Yemeni Civil Society Solidarity ) with the aim of building the capacities of youth, women and youth initiatives and enabling them to effectively participate in the development of their local communities in Al-Shamaytayn district – Taiz city.

the youth have been able to implement 15 small projects in their local communities with funding from IYSO

All of these projects contributed to meeting the needs of the community and enhancing community cohesion in the local communities to which the youth belong.,

At the end of the project, the youth announced on establishment of the Al-Shamayatayn Initiatives Forum with aim to improve youth participation in peacebuilding at the local level..

The following is a group of projects implemented by youth initiatives in their local communities that contributed to promote social cohesion and resolving conflicts of a community nature.
